We live on a burning planet home to madmen armed with increasingly sophisticated weapons of mass destruction.

Oligarchs in every country are conspiring to implement political, technological, and containment strategies to crush their populations’ rising misery and anger.

One of the key tools of this tiny and rapacious capitalist class is propaganda. Propaganda conquers populations when their history is obscured, hidden, or distorted and the vocabulary, philosophy, and strategies of opposition are forbidden.

What is to be done?

To carry out our responsibilities in the defense of nature — the lives of all living beings — we must first learn to think deeply, honestly, and clearly, about the current moment and effective strategies for resistance. We must also understand the material and social conditions that could make a different future possible, and what that future could look like.

We must then find ways to teach others.
